How do we plan to do that? Well, at the heart of our business lies the story of the farmer, the soil and the incredible barley they grow together, it is a story that brings a sense of place to beers and spirits. Not only can we bring that story to you, we also believe we can be a business that challenges the status quo, creates new ways of doing business and builds a Scottish malt brand, recognised both at home and abroad for the quality and flavour it brings to beers and spirits.

OUR PRODUCTS
The Crafty Maltsters team believe that the potential of malted cereals is huge and our product portfolio will develop as we explore. To begin our journey we will be producing - Grandpop’s Pale Ale Malt and Demperston Distilling Malt.
THE MALT JOURNEY
Demperston Farm is home to Crafty Maltsters and here we grow 500 acres of cereals, including barley, wheat, oats and beans. Barley is the most common grain to be associated with malting but Crafty Maltsters will be leaving all the options open.
